BBC News - Indian writer Arundhati Roy ready for Maoist talks role

In my mind, I always linked the fight of the naxalists and the book by Arundhati Roy, "God of small things", although it didn't mention it. The story she depicted is sadly the daily story of most of the indian Poor to this day and that, in my eyes, justifies the bitter fight by the naxalists that I discovered through V.S. Naipaul.

I am really amazed that she might eventually become a peace-broker in this 40 years fight and help pay justice to the Dalits, at long last.

The plea of the Dalits has been unheard and they're legitimately fighting back hard against upper castes who are in the process of transforming themselves from medieval chieftains into modern capitalists, on the corpses of the millions of sub-class people who have no share in that development.
Even though I stand for a free-market economy for Europe, I support Naxalism in India, which should not be confused with any other form of communism, because free-market economy in India is free just for brahmins. For Dalits, the only freedom is to give birth to children slaves, live a life of hard labor and die !
