Classement de Shangaï : cherchez l'erreur !

Comme chaque année, des crétins chinois nous pondent un classement des universités mondiales basé sur les publications de recherche en anglais, comme si cette langue était la seule dans laquelle on puisse publier quelque chose d'intelligent (ce n'est pas mon expérience personnelle...) et où évidemment, les universités US arrivent en tête. Sans blague ?!? Il faut dire que le rêve de tout membre de la nomenklatura chinoise, en bon communiste, est de faire éduquer ses enfants dans les universités US les plus élitistes et les plus chères, les mêmes que ces lèche-culs encensent dans le classement de ShangaÏ. Tout ça ne sent pas du tout le fric, c'est évident... Bizarrement, quand il s'agit pour les banques du monde, dont les US, de recruter des petits génies de la finance pour créer des produits auxquels ces banques ne comprennent rien, qui embauchent-elles ? Des Français...en queue de classement. Après, évidemment, c'est plus facile de faire condamner des salauds de Français en justice lorsque l'incompétence de leurs employeurs a mené ces derniers à la ruine...Ils pourront toujours dire que leurs écoles étaient mal classées et sanctionner leurs DRH... Ah oui et puis tout les derniers médaillés Fields, l'équivalent du prix Nobel pour les mathématiques sont...français !?! Bref, on nous prend une fois de plus vraiment pour des cons... China tightens internet control, good news !

Why is it good news ? Because China is an evil state where exists no freedom other than to exploit workers and bully ethnic minorities. So if China censors internet, that means that its technological development will actually be impaired, and I prefer an evil state that is not too much technologically advanced !

Thanks to this censorship, the western world will stay ahead of China, because freedom is also the freedom to innovate, and these old generals who want to reign in democracy and free communication in China, remind me of the old Mandarins who blocked the development of China for centuries because they thought they had reached the perfect state. We know what happened to this backward China: It became technologically retarded and, consequently, militarily weakened and ended up being colonised, exploited dismantled and humiliated by western powers. History repeats itself...on and on for deaf ears.

They want to steal our consumer rights !

The most potent power that we are left with in a capitalist society is the power to choose what we buy and who we buy from.
However, in this most free-market economy that I evolve in, this is the 3d time I want to buy a pair of shoes and that I can't find where the shoes have been made in...Neither within the shoes, neither under the soles, nor on the box. I asked the salesman once, and he looked at me like I was a complete idiot, thinking : "who the fuck cares where shoes are made in ?". Obviously HE didn't. Well, guess what ? I DO! And if I was the only one to care I would continue to care anyway. Indeed, it is my choice not to buy shoes from countries and brands that exploit children, that have no workers unions, where there is no democracy and where there is no freedom of choice. So, no, I won't buy your shoes made in China, even though 90% are made in China and even though you hide it, and even though you try to cheat me and abuse my consumer rights by tagging them "styled in Italy", which they do now, if you happen to ignore it ! "Styled in Italy" actually reads "Made in China although we want to hide it from you and we think you are an idiot" and is a gross abuse of EU regulations. I am fed up with it, and although this stupid salesman will never understand why I didn't buy a pair of shoes I fancied from his shop, I will let them know, one way or another, that THIS IS MY RIGHT AND I WILL DEFEND IT !
I don't boycott chinese products just because of inhuman treatment of tibetans, I boycott chinese products also because the chinese government systematically represses trade-unions, jails environment activists and tries to deceit ME as a consumer !
